Before the exam starts, you have to drink like 1-2 glasses of water to make sure the bladder is full enough to push the uterus close to the abdomen close. This helps in clearing the baby’s image. You need to enter the room and lie on a bed underneath the ultrasound machine.

A trained ultrasound technician spreads the gel on abdomen to roll a transducer along the abdomen. This also helps to send the sound waves in the uterus and harness the echoes for building an image.  The images seized through ultrasound are displayed on screen for you to see.

Each office has its own process about sharing the ultrasound results. The technician inform you when the results are shared at the examination end.
